How did you become a designer?
That happened by accident. When I was pregnant, I visited a website for pregnant women and mums, where some girls wrote about digital scrapbooking. That was 15 years ago. I was so excited that as soon as my son was born and I finally had some photos with him, I started digital scrapping. And that's how I got to making my own designs. Where do you find your inspiration? Inspiration comes through colors around me or seasons or whatever interests me at the moment. I also like to follow creative ideas on the Internet and sometimes try to bring them into my designs. When is your favorite time of day the day to design? I prefer to design at night or in the morning before lunch. When the house is quiet and I can listen to music by my choice or watch/listen to a documentary on TV. I discovered that when I hear a sports match around me or the news on TV, I can't concentrate at all. How would you describe your product style? My style? That's a question I don't know the answer to. Because my style is always changing according to what I like. Sometimes I'm in the mood for natural kits, sometimes I'm in the mood for artistic kits or watercolor designs. I never put my style in any box. I just love complete freedom in designing. How do you stay organized? Or are you organized at all?
I am a highly disorganized person. I write all my ideas around me on sheets of paper that are stacked on top of each other and then I look for what I actually wrote. My deadline dates on the calendar always catch me by surprise and then I work under pressure.. I need really good time management training lol |
